TapOnApp ("we", "us", or "our") operates the TapOnApp platform, a real-time team location coordination service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

Information you provide directly:
- Name and email address (when you create an account)
- Team names and configuration settings
- Messages sent through the team chat feature
- Status messages and check-in updates
Information collected automatically:
- Precise GPS location data — only when you actively enable "Go Live" sharing. Location is shared in real-time with your team members and stored temporarily.
- Device battery level and GPS accuracy (when sharing location)
- Speed and movement data (when sharing location)
- Location history for route replay features
3. How We Use Your Information
- To display your location to members of your team (only when you enable sharing)
- To facilitate team communication via chat
- To send geofence alerts and emergency notifications
- To process subscription payments via Stripe
- To provide location history and route replay to authorized team leaders
4. Location Data
Location sharing is always opt-in. You must actively press "Go Live" to share your location. You can stop sharing at any time. Team members who are not sharing their location are not visible on the map.
Location data is stored for up to 30 days for route history purposes and then automatically deleted.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Your location and personal information is only shared with:
- Members of your team (only while you are actively sharing)
- Stripe, for payment processing
- Base44, our infrastructure provider
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Stop location sharing at any time
- Leave any team at any time

8. Children's Privacy
TapOnApp is not directed at children under 13. Minors using the app must do so under parental supervision (e.g., as part of a Family coordination team managed by a parent).
