1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TapOnApp, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
TapOnApp is a real-time team location coordination platform that enables groups to share GPS locations, communicate via chat, set geofence alerts, and coordinate activities. The service is provided via web browser — no app download is required.
3. Accounts and Registration
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- One account per person. You may not share your login credentials.
4. Subscription and Billing
- TapOnApp offers a 14-day free trial for new teams — no credit card required.
- After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue: $14.99/month or $149.99/year.
- Subscriptions are billed in advance and automatically renew unless canceled.
- You may cancel at any time. Your team remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are available within 7 days of initial payment. Contact support to request one.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use TapOnApp to:
- Track individuals without their knowledge or consent
- Stalk, harass, or harm any person
- Violate any local, state, national, or international laws
- Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Location sharing requires active user consent. Every user must individually enable location sharing. Using TapOnApp to track someone without their knowledge is strictly prohibited and may violate applicable laws.
6. Location Data Consent
By enabling location sharing ("Go Live"), you explicitly consent to your real-time location being visible to all active members of your team. You may disable this at any time.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
TapOnApp is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous availability, accuracy of GPS data, or fitness for any particular purpose. Do not rely on TapOnApp as your sole safety or emergency tool.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TapOnApp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any harm resulting from reliance on location data.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly any misuse of location tracking features.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
